Ioannis Konstantakopoulos, a former Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley who participated in the SinBerBEST program, just welcomed his baby, Christos Konstantakopoulos.
Currently, Ioannis lives in Seattle with his family.

The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting was held on August 6th, 2019 in CREATE Tower in Singapore. This meeting was held in accordance with SinBerBEST’s research contract with the National Research Foundation (NRF). Attendees in the meeting included the SAC members, Drs. Lim Khiang Wee and Adeline Lim and Md Rafi Othman from NRF, and Dr Gao Chun Ping from the Building Construction Authority (BCA). At this review meeting, the theme leaders from the SinBerBEST program presented on their theme’s progress achievements and future plans.
The SinBerBEST Annual Symposium took place at CREATE Tower in Singapore on Monday, August 5, 2019. The theme of this Symposium was: People, buildings and data – shaping a sustainable future. During this meeting, keynote lectures were presented from external speakers and SinBerBEST principal investigators, Energy Market Authority leadership and presenters from post-doctoral scholars.
Ming Jin and Ruoxi Jia, former Graduate Student Researchers at UC Berkeley who met through the SinBerBEST program, just welcomed their son, Walter Jin, to the world.
He is wearing a SinBerBEST onesie, a gift from the SinBerBEST team at UC Berkeley.
